"Shirly and Adeline are highly experienced teachers. They have a keen eye for spotting details and are able to pin-point areas for improvement skilfully. They give some of the best hands-on adjustments around and always mindful of the state of the students when adjusting. The Mysore Haus is an airy and comfortable space; I always leave practice feeling refreshed and energised!"

"I have really learnt a lot at The Mysore Haus. Shirly and Adeline offer extremely astute insights into the practice, with firm adjustments that are both liberating and mindful. They are also very genuine and generous with their time and energy, and often incorporate nuggets of wisdom every time I struggle physically or mentally. They really care! Further, the space is clean and inviting, and there is a real sense of community. I would have given up if not for the teachers' unconditional support and belief."

Grace and grit is what we need with the relentless social distancing measures that the pandemic has brought on. Accept reality with grace, face the situation with grit. I see this in Adeline and Shirly, our teachers at The Mysore Haus. Graciously accepting one restriction after another and yet continue to find ways to assist in our practice. If we look beyond the physical demands of the asanas, the practice offers many life lessons, like grace and grit. Thank you Adeline and Shirly for keeping us to our Ashtanga practice.
